Cue
Cookie Policy
Cue sets four cookies. Three are needed for it to work at all; one is analytics and is off until you say otherwise.

Essential — always on
These cannot be turned off, because without them Cue either does not work or cannot protect itself. None of them are used for advertising and none are shared with anyone.
| Cookie | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Keeps you signed in. Set by Supabase, our authentication provider. | Until you sign out |
cue_aid | A random number that lets Cue count your AI mood searches against your own daily limit instead of a shared one. Contains nothing about you and is never read by scripts on the page. | 1 year |
cue_consent | Remembers your answer to the analytics question, so you are only asked once. | 1 year |
Analytics — your choice
Cue uses PostHog to see which parts of the product get used, so we know what to build next. It records pages and actions, not what you type into the search. This is off until you accept it, and nothing is sent before you do.
| Cookie | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
ph_* | Recognises a returning browser so a visit is not counted twice. Set by PostHog. | 1 year |
Your choice, right here
You can change your mind whenever you like, and it takes effect immediately — declining also clears the analytics cookies already set.
Anything else?
No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party embeds that set cookies of their own. Artwork is served from TMDB and IGDB image servers, which serve pictures and set nothing.
Your browser can also block or delete cookies itself. If you block the essential ones, sign-in will stop working. What Cue does with the data behind them is in the Privacy Policy.
